It begins with a lifelong passion for art, which has been the catalyst in fostering Almada’s impressive expertise. His extensive knowledge of the visual arts and strong connections in the art world make him one of them most successful art consultants in Southern California.
Artistic Relations is the facet of Almada’s business that allows him to assist others in cultivating their love of art. As a consultant and objective advisor, he helps clients avoid costly mistakes as well as assists them in discovering art that truly matches their individual appreciation and style.
Almada is accomplished in:
1. Fundraising & Charity Initiatives
2. Event planning, Particularly in the Art Field
3. Curating Exhibits
4. Conducting Customized & Private Art Tours
5. Recommending Dining Options to Complement Art Events
Aside from such versatility, Almada is able to be a visionary in any role he fulfills through Artistic Relations. For example, when he curated the inaugural exhibit at the Tolerance Education Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, he brought in the internationally known Jewish artist, and Holocaust survivor, Kalman Aron. Through this effort, Almada restored one of Aron’s masterpieces – an eight foot pastel painting that was done in 1952. The piece has since been dedicated to the Holocaust Museum in Los Angeles as a permanent addition in the museum.
Artist Relations works with a variety of galleries to develop private collections for clients, create unique events, promote gallery showings and procure high-end luxury packets for charity auctions.
I had the pleasure of attending a luncheon exhibition hosted by Richard Almeda. I was impressed by Richard's extensive knowledge of the pieces exhibited and found his discussion of the work very informative. Additionally, the lunch was most enjoyable -- a superb three-course gourmet meal served in a private room at the beautiful Cuistot's. I would definitely recommend attending.
